After buying some good oil in Opio, continue on to Le Bar-sur-Loup, a magnificent medieval village surrounded by beautiful terraces where oranges are cultivated. Three walking itiner aries depart from here, the circuits of which can be found at the tourist office. When the sky is clear, you can even see Corsica!

On the way to Gourdon, you will come across the Cascades des Demoiselles, where the calcium carbonate contained in the river water has calcified parts of the vegetation, and the Cascade de Courmes under which there is a scenic but slippery staircase.

Finally we arrive at Gourdon, a typical Provençal village enclosed by walls and perched on rocks, with many shops selling local perfumes and products. Don’t miss the views from the square at the highest point of the village and from the terrace of the Chateau de Gourdon, from where you can see the whole valley and the coast as far as Antibes.
