Saint-Christol d’Albion

Along the lavender route, near Sault and not far from the Luberon Regional Natural Park, Saint Christol is located in the middle of breathtaking countryside, in the centre of the Plateau de Albion.

Saint Christol will be a delightful destination for fans of caves and wells, numerous in this area, caused by karstic phenomena following the disintegration of rock by water erosion.

Those who prefer open-air activities can enjoy a few walks among vast expanses of lavender that alternate with golden fields of cereals.

In the village, it is possible to visit a beautiful Romanesque church, especially interesting for its columns decorated with snakes, lions and other fabulous beasts.
