A picturesque village surrounded by lavender fields and beech forests.
At an altitude of 700 metres between lavender fields and dense fir and beech forests on the southern slope of the Montagne de Lure is the village of Cruis. In Roman times, a branch of the Via Domizia towards Cruis Mallefougasse crossed.
Don’t miss the slate-roofed church built on the remains of St Martin’s Abbey, of which the cloister remains.
