Lourdes Airport

Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées International Airport is located halfway between Lourdes and Tarbes and is the second most important airport in Occitania, with 450,000 passengers passing through each year.

The Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées airport is mainly used by pilgrims, who visit the town of Lourdes for religious reasons.

A second terminal was inaugurated in 2011, enlarging and expanding the offer of connections and services.

The airport is located at the same distance between the towns of Tarbes and Lourdes: 20 minutes by car from the centre of Tarbes (RN21 road) and 15 minutes from the centre of Lourdes (RN21 road).

If, on the other hand, you are arriving from Toulouse, you will have to allow approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes for your journey.

Shuttles

The TL bus line operates all year round. It stops both in the centre of Lourdes and at the Lourdes SNCF station. Bus timetables are modulated according to the flight schedule from Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées Airport and provide access to the town of Tarbes or Lourdes even late in the evening.

The stop at the airport is at the level of the Arrivals Terminal and in the centre of Lourdes on avenue du Paradis.

Taxi

At the exit of the arrival terminal you will find several taxi companies, some of which can only be used with prior reservation. The journey from the airport to the centre of Lourdes takes about 15 minutes for 11.5 kilometres. The average cost for a ride is between 20 and 30 euros, depending on the destination and road traffic.
