Climate in the Loire Valley

Unlike other French regions, the Loire Valley is characterised by a mild and temperate climate of oceanic origin.

This makes the Loire an excellent destination from a tourist point of view. It boasts dry summers with mild and breezy temperatures, while autumn is never excessively cold.

In summer, in fact, maximum temperatures do not exceed 25° and minimums never fall below 14°. The coastal areas, on the other hand, are the most prone to rainfall as they are subject to the influence of sea currents.

The spring season, on the other hand, is rainier and decidedly more unstable.
