Porto Ota

Porto is a beautiful location considered the starting point for exploring the surrounding wild stretch of coastline, from the Scandola Nature Reserve to the Calanchi di Piana. Its picturesque location makes it an enchanting place thanks to the beautiful nature that surrounds it.

The Marina di Porto

The marina at Porto is a seaside resort visited by many tourists every year.

A must-see is the old Genoese tower, the only historical building in the village, from which there is a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape and inside which there is an exhibition illustrating the functions of towers in Corsica.

In the surrounding area, the most beautiful beaches are Plage de la Bussaglia, immersed in an enchanting natural environment but not recommended for those with small children, and Plage de Gradella, a small but delightful beach that embraces a magnificent panorama.

Porto Ota is a strategic centre for exploring the Scandola Reserve and the Calanchi di Piana. It is an excellent place to sleep given the presence of many hotels, shops and restaurants.

Overlooking Porto is an absolutely delightful village, Ota, with its old stone houses and an atmosphere of absolute peace and serenity. The enchanting setting is enriched by two magnificent Genoese bridges that form perfect arches and double arches. From here, several paths lead to beautiful nature walks.

One of these leads to explore the Gorges de la Speluca in an hour round trip.
