Chambres d’Hotes in France are the equivalent of the Bed & Breakfasts (B&Bs) widespread in the rest of Europe.
Appreciated and extremely widespread in other French regions, in Corsica they are still rare and few in number since it is not part of the Corsican tradition to host people from outside the family in one’s own home.
Those that do exist are mainly located in the more touristy areas and it is a unique opportunity to come into contact with the local population by experiencing their daily reality.
B&Bs also present a remarkable variety in the quality of the facilities, both in terms of comfort and furnishings and originality of style, and many facilities also offer half board.
Reservations are essential as the owners are not always on site.
